Composite Fillings
In the past, getting a cavity meant marring your smile with a silver filling. Now, we can use composite fillings to treat your cavities. Because composite fillings can be shaded to match the natural color of your tooth, no one will be able to tell you got a filling and your smile will still look wonderful.
Porcelain Crowns
Porcelain crowns are a very useful and attractive cosmetic dental treatment. The crown is used to cap a damaged, broken, or ugly tooth, hiding the problem tooth from view and replacing it with a perfectly shaped, pearly white crown that will look totally natural next to neighboring teeth.
Porcelain Fixed Bridges
If you’re missing a tooth, you don’t have to live with a gap in your smile. You can replace the tooth using a porcelain fixed bridge. This permanent dental appliance will be adhered to crowns placed on neighboring teeth. It will fill the gap left by your missing tooth nicely, enabling you to chew normally again and also preventing your teeth from shifting into the gap and becoming misaligned.
Porcelain Veneers
Porcelain veneers can conceal a wide variety of cosmetic dental problems. Veeners are basically thin sheets of porcelain that are bonded to the surface of your teeth. The veneers will be cut and colored especially for you, and can be used to cover up stained, chipped, gapped, uneven, slightly crooked, or oddly sized teeth. Because porcelain looks so similar to tooth enamel, your veneers will look beautiful and natural.
Dental Implants
If you are missing any or all of your teeth, dental implants are quite simply the best way to replace them. This advanced therapy provides a solution that looks, feels, and acts like natural teeth. You can eat whatever you want and no one will even be able to tell you have dental implants.
Family Dentistry
California Dental Group offers superior dental care for the whole family. We can help children get a good foundation in oral hygiene, provide orthodontics for teens and adults, and help seniors replace missing teeth with bridges, dentures, or implants. We treat every patient like family!
Teeth Whitening
If you’re unhappy with the color of your teeth, it only takes one hour and one appointment to change that. We are proud to offer one of the finest and most trusted whitening processes available, the Rembrandt One Hour Smile Whitening Program. It’s safe, fast, effective, so you enjoy a whiter, brighter smile immediately after treatment.
Orthodontics
Our skilled orthodontists can correct misaligned teeth for cosmetic reasons as well as to address jaw, face, and bite irregularities. With our help, you can finally get the straight, even teeth you’ve always wanted. Not only will your teeth look fantastic, they’ll also be healthier because straight teeth are easier to clean than crooked or overlapping teeth.
Invisalign
Invisalign is a cutting edge treatment that can correct most of the orthodontic problems commonly seen in adults and kids alike. Instead of metal brackets and wires, Invisalign treatment uses clear plastic trays to align teeth. Because the trays are clear, it’s easy to keep your treatment private. Most Invisalign treatments take about a year to complete.
Cleanings and Prevention
Getting regular professional dental cleanings is an absolute must if you want to keep your teeth healthy and prevent a variety of dental problems later on down the line. California Dental Group is an excellent place to get your dental cleanings and preventative care, because we know how to clean teeth gently and thoroughly for a comfortable and relaxing experience.
Dental Exams and Cleanings
The American Dental Association recommends that patients get their teeth professionally cleaned every six months. At California Dental Group, we provide the deep cleanings you need to keep plaque and tartar at bay. Each cleaning also comes with an exam from an expert dentist, to check for cavities and other oral health problems.
Dental X-Rays
Dental X-rays are a crucial part of good preventative dental care, because they enable your dentist to check for various dental problems such as decay, abscesses, bone loss, and tumors and provide the necessary attention at an early stage. We take full mouth and bitewing dental x-rays at our offices.
Home Care
Because we are so dedicated to preventative care, we make a point of ensuring that each and every patient understands their responsibilities as to home care for their teeth. We provide advice about oral hygiene products and techniques that you can use on a daily basis to keep your teeth clean and healthy.
Restorations
If your teeth have been damaged or even lost due to tooth decay, age, or accident, we can help by providing expert restorative care. For example, we can fill cavities using white composite fillings, restore decayed or broken teeth with crowns, and replace missing teeth with bridges, dentures, or implants. We also provide expert root canal therapy to save infected teeth.
Amalgam Fillings
If you have a cavity, a crack, or excessive wear in your tooth, this can be corrected using a silver amalgam filling or white composite filling. Amalgam fillings are appropriate for use in the back of the mouth where they will not be easily seen. We place both types of fillings in a gentle and virtually painless manner.
Crowns (Caps)
Crowns are an excellent way of repairing damaged, broken, or heavily decayed teeth. Often, a tooth that could not support a filling can still be saved by covering it with a crown or cap. This crown or cap protects the tooth from further damage, prevents you from experiencing pain when the tooth is touched, and allows you to use the tooth normally.
Dentures and Partial Dentures
Dentures are a very traditional treatment for missing teeth. At California Dental Group, we can help you replace several teeth or all of your teeth using partial dentures or complete dentures. We will make sure you get a high-quality denture that will be comfortable and allow you to eat and speak normally.
Fixed Bridges
If you are missing a tooth (or several teeth in a row) a fixed bridge can provide a replacement. This will prevent other teeth from shifting into the gap left by the missing teeth and also prevent your face from looking prematurely aged due to the missing teeth. In order to get a fixed bridge, you must have two healthy teeth to attach the appliance to.
Root Canal Therapy
When faced with a choice between tooth extraction and root canal therapy, always choose the root canal! Root canal therapy is highly effective in treating decayed or infected teeth and it will allow you to keep your natural teeth as long as possible. Our root canal therapy is safe and virtually pain-free.
